Florida announced the hires of six position coaches on Jim McElwain's staff Monday which included former Miami head coach Randy Shannon being named associate head coach and co-defensive coordinator. Shannon will also coach the linebackers. Per CBSSports.com:

The other coaches include defensive backs coach Kirk Callahan, who worked at Florida during the 2010-2011 seasons before coaching the same position at UCF; tight ends and special teams coach Greg Nord, a longtime Louisville assistant who was most recently Western Kentucky's running backs coach; running backs coach Tim Skipper, McElwain's assistant head coach at Colorado State; and defensive line coach Terrell Williams, who spent the last three seasons in the same position with the Oakland Raiders.

The Gators also announced the hire of strength and conditioning coach Mike Kent, Colorado State's strength and conditioning coach for three seasons under McElwain.
