Avery Johnson’s Son Does Not Like CBS Analyst Doug Gottlieb
Steve Mitchell-USA TODAY Sports
Alabama hired former NBA player and coach Avery Johnson as their new head basketball coach over the weekend. There are rumors he could be getting paid anywhere from $3 million to $4 million per year, which apparently didn't sit well with CBS college basketball analyst Doug Gottlieb...

Doug Gottlieb is one of the least likable people I've ever seen.

It's pretty bad when you're right and people still hate you.

Was he asking him a question or making a broken statement?

That was Avery's asking price. If someone chose to pay his asking price, is that your concern?

How much does Gottlieb make? Would it be OK to say that his employers are overpaying him?

Bitching about someone's salary is an LSU pastime as well. Here we bemoan Les getting 4 Mil. Turns out 5 other coaches make that money in the SEC west with lower expectations and results (except Saban).

Gotlieb said in 2009 middle of regular season "come on, let's get lsu ranked". And how right he was because lsu is the only team to come close to North Carolina in the ncaa tournament so gotlieb was doing the opposite of hating. But maybe he has changed over 6 years.
