Honestly, the best time to visit 30A is around Thanksgiving.
The weather is great, the water is clear, and it's not overly crowded

Was in seaside this weekend and biked through watercolor several times. Neither are crowded. Few people whose kids haven't started school yet but in no way was either crowded.

I was in Destin this weekend and noticed a decent drop in traffic from just a few weeks ago.
Not October/ November like traffic but better none the less

Was in watercolor two weeks ago. Because of kids going back to school, it wasn't crowded at all compared to mid summer. October/November are better, but now would be a good time to go.
Also if you sign up with some of the local rental agencies such as exclusive30a, you may be able to get a great last minute deal.

We are down in seaside right now and it's not too crowded. The water is on the dark side due to the weather that just came through. We always hit it up in August and it's usually pretty much the perfect time for us. It's gonna be a good week after being stuck on I12 for 30+ hours on our way down here.

Sandestin Triathlon rolls in this weekendand we're headed up tomorrow. Likely hit Cuvee tomorrow, maybe Growlers Garage then go laugh at people at Baytowne.

Haven't seen any jelly fish and by looking at crab island among other places they don't seem to be a problem. Possibly the weather moving through last week could have pushed them out.

I know, we've been doing November down there since the early 90s and it's boomed. I honestly don't mind the influx as back then, a lot of stuff was closed for the season. But it's getting a little too crazy now.

I'm a month or two away from 30 and the traffic and crowded bars don't bother me one bit. To each their own though I guess
