Going to be in a wedding in November right outside of Waco. Looking for something for the groom and groomsmen to do after the rehearsal dinner.

Any recs on bars or other hidden gems. Likewise, any places to avoid?

Wow. Good luck. Waco is one of the most depressing places I've been to in America.

Balcones has their debut on November 12th. Unfortunately tickets are sold out (I got my 2). I'm not sure when in November you're going to be there, but they will have tours of the distillery sometime after the 12th.

Other than that Waco is a terrible place outside of Baylor. I usually just take the kids to the Cameron Park Zoo and then jet out of there.

George's is a legendary bar with live music and really good food

It's an awesome bar. Go eat and drink there

Also, Viteks BBQ is awesome. Also health camp for burgers
