Trip booked for this summer. I have spent a month in Vienna a decade ago so i have forgotten a lot. Steierbeck (Sp?)...the 2 star Michelin restaurant is the only definite.

Any advice on Dubrovnik,Budva, Kodor, Mostar, Split, Sibenik, zadar, hvar...or any other dalmatian island...

Food, wine (amd wineries) and topless beaches...are my priorities. I cant speak for Mrs. T.A.

The restaurant you are referring to in Vienna is Steireck. It is a beautiful restaurant in the middle of the park near the Mozart statue. I had dinner there about 10 years ago. It was an incredible dining experience. You often see it on the lists of the best restaurants in the world. I think it had 3 Michelin stars back then. At least they told me they did. I say this although I came to the travel board from the recruiting board because I am tired of dealing with star ratings.

Yes. Its on the top 100 list. We have done number 1 and 3 and several more. Only one of the several we have been to has disappointed...

The restaurant looks wonderful and i did a ton of cheap eats while i was there as a student.

Vienna wasnt me at all at the time. I was single and broke so Budapest was perfect. I recall thinking vienna would be great with a wife and some $.
