Unique places to propose in the US

Looking to propose here in the next couple months. My GF and I have been together for a long time and traveled quite a bit domestically and in Europe. Travel has played a major role in our relationship and is one of the things we enjoy doing the most with one another. I've always wanted to propose at a unique destination and now that we have had a baby, it doesn't look like anywhere exotic is on the agenda.
Trying to find a neat place that could be done in a weekend trip. So far one the only place I have thought of is Camelback Mountain in Phoenix. Would be easy to pull off and would still be a cool place in my opinion. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Marriage Island on the river walk in San Antonio, look up the background behind it. It's a heart shaped island in the river that if you propose or marry on it will bring good luck to your marriage or something.
I proposed in San Antonio and that was where I wanted to do it. But due to other circumstances I ended up proposing on the observation deck of the Tower of Americas in the evening overlooking the city.

Depends on what kind of woman she is.
If she's up at dawn, then somewhere with a stunning view of sunrise would work. The converse is true at sunset, obviously everyone is awake then.
Outdoors-y type? Crater Lake, Yosemite or some other stunning natural area.
More urban? Cityscape at dusk?
PS: Pics of her would help, TIA.
ETA: Plaquamine(sic) Ferry at sunset

Congrats on the pending nuptials (if she agrees).

Whitaker point in Arkansas. You can make it in 8 hours plus a nice hike.

Wow, that place is incredible. I imagine you have to visit with a guide due to the danger? That's about 5 hours from my front door

And when are you wanting to do this? It's starting to get much warmer here. Couple months and you better be on top of that mountain at like 5 am when the temps are "only" 90 degrees.
What about in Sedona?
Could do it at the top of Devil's Bridge. Not that difficult a hike and you can actually walk across the "bridge" and propose there. MUCH better views there than at the top of Camelback.

I too proposed in San Antonio. Found a secluded area of the Alamo gardens towards the back.

If you're going to do it in Oregon, then I would suggest one of these places.

I've never been to Sedona, but after looking at it, seems like a place that would be great for us. I can get to Phoenix for cheap and rent a car to get to Sedona pretty easily. Looking at flying in on a Saturday night, doing Sunday in Phoenix, Monday & Tuesday in Sedona, leave Wednesday morning.
Any advice for restaurants/hotels in Sedona would be much appreciated.
Also considering Oregon if you have any advice Jax-Tiger.
