Thoughts on Trunk Bay?

Have any of you guys been to trunk bay?? Thoughts of that beach??

Yes, we've been 3 times. Once on a cruise, and twice we have stayed on St John. Beautiful beach.

No more than $5 fee. Hawk's Nest is another beautiful one. You can't go wrong with the beautiful beaches on St. John. Loved all the great North Shore beaches.

I love Megan's bay in st Thomas was just wondering if trunk was better and worth the ferry ride over.

Have not been to beaches on St. Thomas. If you like to snorkel, you will love Trunk Bay, Hawk's Nest, Francis Bay. So easy to snorkel straight from the beach. Will you be there from a cruise ship or staying on island?

If you're staying on St Thomas then St John is def worth a day trip. Completely different than ST

Beautiful beach!!! Actually all the St John beaches are. Man I love that place and can't wait to go back.

Yeah going on a crusie been to Megan's many times, but my boss was talking about trunk I don't know if I can get her to change her mind tho.

There's nothing wrong with Megan's Bay except it's on St. Thomas and it gets overrun with cruise shippers. Trunk, Hawk's Nest, Francis, etc on St. John aren't as crowded. Trunk can be when a cruise ship is in port and people day trip over but an effort has to be made to get there. Hawk's Nest, Francis and the others are less crowded for sure.

I'd definitely recommend a trip to Trunk Bay. We stayed on St. Thomas but the ferry ride over to St. John was well worth it. The snorkeling was a great experience also.
Magens Bay was amazing though. I can't wait for another trip to the USVI.
