I'm thinking about taking a trip with the Gf. Some of the cities we are looking at are Boston, Denver, Kansas City, and New York. Any of you guys have any input about these cities? I've been to Kansas City, but none of the others. Thanks

well .. i have been to all of them, so you can obviously eliminate KC .. I would do the northeast .. Fly to Boston, spend a few days there, take the train to NYC .. spend some time there, then move on down to D.C. and fly home from there ..

Pair that with time in Napa Valley and Muir Woods and that could be a pretty awesome trip.

Go to baseball games in all cities .. take a historical tour of Boston .. check out the Faneuil Hall area .. go to Martha's Vineyard .. take in a play in NYC .. eat a chunk of cheesecake at Lindy's in Times Square .. go to the Stock Exchange .. go to the Washington Monument .. Smithsonian .. and Arlington National Cemetery .. tons to do in that corridor ..

just may do the Boston/New York trip! Fly into Boston, rent a car, stay in Boston for 3-4 nights, then drive to New York and stay 3-4 nights. The Red Sox play July 3 & 4, and the Yankees play those same dates. If we had to choose going to Fenway or Yankee stadium which would you we see a game?

why choose ? do them both .. Fenway is an old, historic park with a cool places to go get a beer around it .. Yankee Stadium is an antiseptic, new rendition of the old stadium .. I haven't been to the new one yet .. but it is a pretty cool subway ride from Manhattan to the Bronx .. you go from money to ghetto to money again .. a slice of Americana ..

If budget is not a major factor, New York. I'm not crazy about big cities in general, but NYC was really a cool experience. Everywhere you look is another famous landmark.
