Time fillers when you have down time while traveling

We all have down time be it in airports or other things, what do you do to fill that time? The gaming board got me thinking about this and I have a few games I can play offline that keep me buy as well as some audio books.

It may be cheesy, but I usually head to the bar and strike up convo with strangers. If I am traveling with someone I usually avoid it but if I am alone I like to meet new people and hear their stories.

I'm at PVG for another 4 hours, 12 hour flight,then a 5 hour layover at LAX, before a 5 hour flight to ATL. Gonna be a shite day.

I'm a huge bookworm so I can easily just find a comfy spot to sit somewhere and read.

ETA: I usually browse on here, try and explore the area a bit, catch up on emails, etc.

Amazon Prime lets you download movies/tv shows to watch when not connected to the internet. That and drink.

I fly way too much. Any time that I have the opportunity to get drunk before boarding a plane that's my go to.
