I always want to go skiing but work does not allow me to in the months of January - May. December doesn't seem to work out for some reason or the other. Going to the Southern Hemisphere for a long weekend doesn't sound very reasonable.

What are some places to go skiing in the summer months in North America. I am guessing it would have to be somewhere in Canada like Whistler. Has anyone been? How is it?

I would consider myself an intermediate level skier so don't need anything fancy. A few runs over a weekend/long weekend is what I am looking for.

TIA!

Looks like it is closing down on May 15? Can you link me to the website?

Look up mammoth mountain as well. It really depends on the year, but they have been open past the 4th of July on good years.

Otherwise you might just want to go to Colorado in december
