I wouldn't fly them unless the flight is shorter than 2 hours and the savings is greater than $200. They charge you for everything - ck led and carry ons. Snacks etc

Seriously who eats snacks unless your going to be flying 4+ hours... Is that really a deal breaker for some?

It's not the snacks. But being charged to a seat to recline, boarding pass printed, checked and carried on luggage are charges. Crap adds up

How was it? Looking at flights to LAS may go with Spirit.

I don't think the seats recline at all. You can print your own boarding pass and not have to pay the fee. Who still prints their pass at the ticket counter? Most airlines charge for checked bags, and the Spirit fees are comparable to other airlines. I've flown Spirit probably 10 times, and I've never had an issue. Just be aware of what they allow and what they charge for, and plan accordingly.
