Going to Sedona for a few days. Any resturants/bars that are a must visit? Planning on spending a day hiking up to Bell rock and another to Cathedral rock.
Any other recs?

Elote cafe was the best place we ate. Would highly recommend. Indian gardens was a good breakfast spot - it’s a little was out, but worth it. We hit it up on the way to a trailhead.

I second Elote. They book out month in advance but if you call day of when they open you may be able to get in.

Mariposa was nice and has some of the best views you could ever want in a southwest restaurant. We had drinks at one of these tables at sunset and by the time you sit it has become a very enjoyable evening.

Elote, Mariposa and Butterfly Burger.....Elote and Mariposa require reservations in advance (during the summer...not sure about now). Food at Butterfly Burger and Elote were exceptional (yes an exceptional burger). Mariposa food was good, but the view was exceptional.

enjoy

Second Jerome, Elote and the restaurant at Airport mesa. Pretty much any hike is going to be outstanding. Chapel of the Holy Cross is cool.

Get to cathedral rock in the morning.

Parking for it is a pain and it’s a short hike but you’ll like that vista before the sun is in front of you.

After hiking, I head over to Sedona New Day Spa. The Turquoise Sage treatment is awesome. It’s pricey, but so is everything else in Sedona.

Italian: Dahl and DiLuca was fantastic.

We liked Oak Creek Brewery & Grill in Tlaquepaque; solid menu with burgers, pizza, wings, and other entrees.

Go inside the chapel at Cathedral Rock. It’s gorgeous.

Great area for stargazing. It’s one of only a handful of “Dark Sky” areas. They have tours/excursions you can book that will set you up with everything you need. Really cool on a clear night.

We liked Mariposa as well.

And I always suggest the Oak Creek West Fork Trail. Not sure when you are going, but your feet may get wet if the water is high.

Oak Creek West Fork Trail

I would also suggest VRBO and rent a house. We stayed for about the same cost of a hotel.

Highly recommend Boynton Canyon Trail for a view from Subway Cave. We did this about a month and a half ago.

Another vote for Javelina. We stayed at the Arabella which was a short walk (stumble) away. Great food and atmosphere.

Mariposa is a must.

Book right before sunset, you’ll be amazed.
