Thanks to everyone who helped me out by answering questions over the last few months. Below is my review of the various things we did on my first trip to Walt Disney World.

Frontier Airlines
-9/10.
-Cheap Fares and since we were sending baggage over the road with family, we didn't get screwed on paying for bags.
-I am 6'3" and had plenty of leg room on the outbound and inbound flights.
-No food or drinks on board, unless you want to pay for it, but I did not.
-Minor Delay due to weather coming back from Orlando. The airline found us another plane and flight crew and got us going quickly since the inbound flight was diverted to Tampa.
-The tip about boarding passes on the phone was awesome. This was the easiest flying experience I've ever had.
-It was my girlfriend's first ever flight. I asked for some wings, and the flight crew said they didn't have any, but would set up a picture with the Pilot at the end of the flight. We got off the plane last and I was expecting him to step out of the cockpit to take a picture. NO... she got to sit in the cockpit, in the co-pilot's chair, and take a picture and ask questions. It was first class customer service. He turned on the lights on the instrument panel and talked with us for about five minutes.

Disney's Magic Kingdom
- 7/10 (did it in two days)

Food:
Be Our Guest for breakfast- would not recommend... Worst meal we had on the trip.

Crystal Palace- Good food but not for the price. $42 for a buffet is steep.

Pecos Bills- Solid Mexican food and not overly priced. This was a top 3 meal for the whole trip.

No Alcohol in this park.

Top Five Rides:
1. Seven Dwarfs Mine Train
2. Tea Cups
3. Splash Mountain
4. Space Mountain
5. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad

Shows:
1. Wishes
2. Celebrate the Magic
3. Hall of Presidents
4. Main Street Electrical Parade
5. Country Bear Jamboree (Would not do this again)

Disney's Epcot- 10/10

Food:
Captain's Grill at the Yacht Club- good breakfast buffet. Had Mickey waffles, French toast, sausage, eggs, etc... I would certainly go again.

Sunshine Seasons in "The Land"- I got a southwest chicken wrap that was great. Food court style with about 20 options.

Japan Dining- Sushi for appetizer and a steak. Very good, would recommend.

Parking: Thanks to this board I found out I could valet park at the Yacht Club, leave my vehicle and enter Epcot through the International Gateway. No waiting in line to get in.

Rides:
1. Soarin
2. Test Track
3. Mission Space
4. Spaceship Earth
5. Living with the Land

Drink Around the World Passport (Order of best drink)

1. Tsing Dao, China
2. Frozen Margarita, Mexico
3. Sapporo, Japan
4. Schofferhofer Grapefruit Beer, Germany
5. Safari Amber, Africa Refreshment Coolpost
6. Viking Star, Norway
7. Moretti, Italy
8. Almaza, Morocco
9. Harp Lager, UK
10. Labatt Blue, Canada
11. Bud Light, USA
12. 1664, France

Disney's Hollywood Studios- 4/10

Food:
Rosie's America Quick Serve- Great burger with onion strings

Fairfax Fare- Turkey Leg was extremely salty

Anaheim Produce- Cold Margarita helped the turkey leg go down.

Rides:
1. Rocking Rollercoaster- Best ride experience overall
2. Tower of Terror- huge disappointment to me.

Shows:
1. Fantasmic
2. Muppets 3D
3. One Man's Dream

*** Most of the park was shut down for renovations. The few shows and rides were backed up to long wait times. Too much emphasis on the Star Wars thing, and not enough on the classics. It was so hot we had to leave and then come back at night to enjoy anything.***

Disney's Animal Kingdom- 9/10

Food:
Tusker House- best dining experience in the park. A little "Disney" priced, but the food was delicious.

Rides:
1. Expedition Everest
2. Kilimanjaro Safaris

Shows:
1. Festival of the Lion King (Best show in the trip)
2. Its Tough to Be A Bug

***Thanks to this board I found the hidden walking trail to the waterfall. It is still there but is overgrown. You can tell some people still know about it because there is a very light trail still stamped out. This was one of the coolest experiences on the trip due to it being a surprise to the rest of our party. They followed blindly and we were able to get some one of a kind pictures. I didn't get to see De'Vine or the talking trash can though, which sucked.***

Other Notes:
-Those people are good at what they do
-Transportation is top notch
-Customer Service is amazing (they created an experience that I cannot help but return to)
-As a grown man (30 years old) I felt like a kid meeting the characters
-Invest the money in the Memory Maker... $170 and we got over 100 professional photos from the Photo Pass people and rides. ($1500 value)
-Planning is certainly key to maximizing the experience
-Doing the "classic" rides was better to me than most of the newer ones
-Each park as an educational aspect to it that I was not expecting, but found very very cool.

Again, sorry no pics, but thanks again to everyone for the help in planning and answering questions. If you have any specific questions I'd be happy to answer them.

You're welcome.

Sounds like you had an awesome time.

I made a vacation video from some of our memory maker and photopass shots but can't post it here because of all the weirdos.

I know there are a ton of websites but we probably will need to have a stickied thread on Disney tips at some point.

I think Disney is too complicated to have it summarized in one thread. maybe one thread for resorts/hotels, one for dining, one for tickets, one for theme park strategies, etc but the topics and questions in relation to Disney are way too diverse to be encompassed in one thread.

Sad that be our guest for breakfast was so bad, I've eaten there for lunch and it wasn't bad at all.

I've heard nothing but bad things about breakfast...specifically that it isn't worth the price you pay. My wife and I were seriously disappointed with our lunch...didn't care for it at all really. I'd be willing to give the restaurant one last chance for dinner since it's a different menu and experience. Plus I've heard very good things about dinner.

Which is why nobody is suggesting it shouldn't be done. Each topic/question should have it's own post when it arises.

As far as Table Service location go in MK it's up there with just about any other and it's the only place to meet the Beast and only place to buy alcohol in Magic Kingdom.

For quick service, there are too many other locations just as good or better. Unless you have money to waste, have a pre-par opening ADR (8 am) on a day where they don't have the new early opening hours and shove your food down your face to be standing at Mine Train by 8:40 I would not worry with breakfast.

I've been going to Disney since the late 70's, so I always drag the kids to that one and Carousel of Progress for nostalgic reasons.

Country Bears was good to get out of the sun. It had its funny moments, but those came more from laughing at kids who didn't understand what they were laughing at... "The Men That Turn Me On Turn Me Down." The CoP, I found to be interesting. Not so much for the message, but for finding the hidden Mickey's that were in each scene. That and the air conditioning was amazing.

Great time to go. Crowds are down and the temperatures are perfect. A little too cool for the pools, but that's never really bothered us.

Not necessarily. We hit the pool at Wilderness Lodge during our honeymoon which was in January several years ago. The pools are heated and it's possible to get warm enough weather. More than likely, though, you won't.

I've been swimming on every January trip I've ever taken. It's hit or miss and while it may be too cold to sit poolside and enjoy yourself, the pools are always fine. Most of the time you will find a day where it may hit 65+ and be sunny and it's perfect to swim and sit poolside.
