Paris in late May?

Not sure if I'll go, but saw a super cheap fare from DEN to CDG (Denver is not that far from where I live) at the end of May and kinda tempted to pull the trigger. I know it gets pretty warm in the summers there but how is late May/1st week of June like?
Also, at that time of year, does it get super busy? Neat activities that time of year as well? I know I may country hop over to London since it's not that far either. Any suggestions would be great!
I would've liked to go late April/early may, but I've got a work commitment that time, so I've got to hold until then.
TIA

I was there and Amsterdam around that time last year. The weather was pretty nice and I didn't find it to be overly busy.
I started and ended in Paris, but hopped over two Amsterdam for 2 days. Took a train there (which was pretty cool) and a KLM flight back. Only about 1.5-2hrs or so of travel time if I remember correctly.

Should be nice during the day but can still get pretty cold at night that time of year. There will be crowds but it won't be that bad.

Bringing the wife in mid march for about 4 days. Any must do places or restaurants that aren't the typical tourist stuff?

I think looking at getting in the 26th and the heading back June 2nd. Yeah, I may look at trying to do a few days in London too. Glad the weather will be OK at that time
Thanks

Man when I went to Europe two years ago I expected it to be cool and wet.... It stayed in the mid 80's to low 90's the entire time and never rained. I brought clothes I never wore, took up too much space in my luggage.

How baller do you want to go.
L'ami Jean and Bistrot Paul Bert are absolute musts for bistros.
Baller:
Spring
Le Chateaubriand
Frenchie
Parisbymouth.com is a wonderful resource.
Can't recommend L'Avant Comptoire enough as well for a standup lunch.

I have been to Paris and London several times. We usually go in April for various reasons but I was in Paris/London for the 1st two weeks of June 2013. We had a great time. A couple of days the weather in Paris was hot which was not good since we were staying in an un-airconditioned apt. I remember Versailles being very crowded but other than that the crowds weren't too bad. Getting a museum pass really helps because it allows you to avoid many lines. Take the Eurostar train from London to Paris or vice versa. It takes you from downtown Paris to downtown London in about three hours. The weather is unpredictable. I have been in April when it was cold and rainy then two days later it was sunny and mild. In June we had a couple of days of hot weather but much of the time it was perfect. My advice is to go ahead and book it.

Good advice ^
Paris Museum Pass Website
Eurostar is a good recommendation as well if you want to go to London. No airports and you go from City Centre to City Centre. (Well, Close)
Ride the Metro in Paris and the Tube (if in London).
Cheers!

That's one of the best times to go IMO, still can get cool in the morning but heat up in the afternoon obviously. The reason I say best time is you have longer days but not smoking hot yet or extremely busy.
Too many restaurants to list and Paris is probably the best city in the world to eat, you can spend as little or as much as you want.

I actually like the Metro a lot more than I like the Tube.
Paris Metro is so damn easy to use and there is a stop on like every corner.

I went over Memorial Day weekend here and it wasn't bad at all. Even with the French open going on at the same time it still isn't a bad time to go.

Another bump, but thoughts on how to do 8-9 days there?
I wish I were in Europe longer, but kind of keeping it on a budget since I'd like a few other things later in the year.
23-24: Travel days (Flying into CDG early on thr 24, relax around the city that day)
25-27: London?
28-31: Paris
1: A day trip somewhere outside the city
2: Fly back to US
There's enough in France to keep me busy, obviously, but wonder what the TB's thoughts are on a potential itinerary.

Your mileage may vary, but might be best to spend whole time in Paris. Rent an apartment, take a day trip or two (Normandy, Champagne region (also loads of WWI battlefields, Lyon, Versailles), and just get into the rhythm of life in Paris.
I just think that might be a bit more relaxing and a way to stretch your trip into seemingly a longer vacation.
Great time of the year to visit France. My opinion on Paris is it will always be "crowded" as it is probably one of the most popular tourist destination on the planet. But with reserve passes to say Eiffel Tour, Louvre, etc... you can at least eliminate some waiting.
As far as restaurants in Paris, man, the world is wide open. What do you like to eat? What do you hate? What are you comfortable spending?
