Ok so headed to the city. It has been a year or so since I went. Sat-Mon I am staying at the W Union Square. I am not sure where I will stay Friday night. Will be solo that evening so looking for a few more chill spots to enjoy a drink, shoot the shite, but just relax. Any recent must go places? Also- debating between staying in Chelsea, the E Village, or Grammercy for Friday night but can be pursuaded elsewhere.

- If you're into craft beer, you can easily hop the F train from Union Square West and go to Other Half Brewing in Brooklyn. It's a small space with very little capacity, but you should be fine as long as there isn't a release that day.

- Depending on the weather, you can typically walk to Blind Tiger from Union Square W. Great craft beer selection.

- One of my favorite spots for a few beers and a small bites is The Jeffrey Craft Beer & Bites, which is located right near the Queensboro bridge. Also easy to get to from Union Square W by train. They'll typically have a solid selection of beers from Hill Farmstead, Other Half, and Night Shift. They have some Chicago selections from Half Acre and Pipeworks, but not their best offerings.

Anyone need a friend with benefits to apply to:

Chemistry
Take a peek at what goes on behind NYC’s closed doors during Chemistry, an erotic roaming party intended for uninhibited sexual exploration. With themes like “Spanksgiving” and “Garden of Hedon,” the Brooklyncentric rendezvous start off as social gatherings, with live jazz and drinks, and then transition to the down and dirty. But before you get, ahem, excited, this isn’t a free-for-all: Chemistry partygoers are a curated group of members chosen through a two-part application process.

I'll vouch for Blind Tiger and the Jeffery. Blind tiger on a nice day with the widows open is a great place to watch the day go by.

Just booked down in Soho for the Friday so the Blind Tiger looks good.

Also- directly across from City Winery.

Other Half Brewing in Brooklyn

Other Half is legit. Went a couple weeks ago. Loved it.
