Depends on what you want to spend . Check out secrets resort and excellence resorts . You get the most bang for your buck . They have many locations in Mexico , Dominican and Jamaica. Sandals is another all inclusive but I think they’re extremely over priced

AI's are highly frowned upon on this board. Don't listen to that. For a new couple, the ability to go relax and not worry about money or finding restaurants and all that stuff is ideal. Just go and spend time together.

Just had ours at Secrets Cap Cana in the DR and loved it! The only "knock" on it would be all the pools closed at 7 and there is very little going on after that besides dinner. We aren't big party people so it worked for us.

We did Excellence in Punta Cana, DR. Would recommend, food was decent enough, good shows and staff was top notch.

Hedonism is for anniversaries, don't want to rekindle yet, so a place I always wanted to go to would be:

Petit St. Vincent!

Budget and how much time you intend to spend on the trip would go a long way in providing helpful answers

Desire Resort, If you aren't shy about seeing people naked, this place is very nice.

I'll be the contrary one then.

The wife (no pics) and I had our honeymoon at the Halcyon Bay Sandals on St. Lucia. The place was fricking immaculate, the staff were friendly and courteous, the food was great and there was plenty to do (there are 3 Sandals on St. Lucia, staying at one gives you access to all three and they have a bus that runs between them all throughout the day).

The food and drinks were good (and plentiful, and free) and there was as much activity as you wanted to plan out. We rode jet skis, sailed, scuba'd, went zip-lining, lounged, ate well, drank like old French royals, etc. It was just what we wanted for a honeymoon: not having to worry about anything other than just doing things together.

Over the years we thought about going again for our 10-year anniversary but as we've gotten older we've realized we want to go new places.

I'm in the same boat as you (getting married next June). My travel agent sent me some prices back for 7 days in the Caribbean at Sandals resorts and they are extremely pricey. I am now looking into Excellence and Secrets to compare. We really liked the idea of Barbados.

Make sure you have a backup plan. When my wife and I got married, a hurricane destroyed the resort a few weeks before.

Went to Excellence. No regrets. In fact, we've been back 2 other times since then and plan on going again this coming spring break.

Had a great time at Couples Swept Away in Jamaica for my honeymoon. Had another trip booked at Excellence Oyster Bay but had to cancel during Covid. That place looked really nice though, wish we had gone. Need to rebook.
