The Eola is closed and has been for a couple of years. They are turning it into a retired living center or something like that.

The Eola Hotel that most Natchez visitors knew is gone. However, it appears that someone took the Eola brand and opened a 16-room B&B a few blocks away. They are calling it the Eola but it is not the old hotel.

Ah, yes you're right. It's not the original. Used to be called something else.
