Heading there on Wednesday for a long weekend. We have two days at the park and one day at the water park. Everything I've read says that two days at the park is more than enough time. Anything in particular to check out or avoid?

Also will probably break up the trip there into two days. Any cool place to stop on the way to spend one night?

Thanks in advance.

Legoland Orlando was a pretty good time. Went twice last year. Great time with the kids and pretty decent rides. They have a thing where you can buy Lego people and trade them with employees around the park for different characters. My oldest was 4 at the time and they have a thing where they can get their license. I believe they had to be 6, but I kept interrogating my son and asking his age. He did good said he was 6 they let him in. Sat through the drivers class with him then he got to ride the course and get a license. They have a good deal on a slushy cup you pay the one time thing then free refills, but there is only one refill place. Food is decent like any other food at an amusement park. Honestly it's a good time and I had more fun there than I had at Disney.

Awesome. Thanks for the info. We've done Disney many times and decided to do two long weekend trips this summer, the beach and legoland. This trip is a gift for our 7 year old for his birthday a few weeks ago. He will definitely love the driving thing and trading the Lego people. We have an older daughter that is 12, so I'm hoping there's some decent stuff for her to do. Youngest is a little over 1. She probably won't be doing much unless there's stuff for toddlers. Did y'all do the water park when you went?

This is a great place with the younger kids. They do have some good smaller coasters. The place was not crowded at all when we went a few years back. It was also very clean and easy to get around. We went for one day and had plenty of time to check things out but we did not go over to the waterpark. Two days would be really relaxing and you could do the waterpark with no issues. Don't think this is a Universal Studios as it is really setup for kids under 13, or older kids who are / were into Legos.
