Leaving for Banff in a few days...what to wear?

Are ALL restaurants tourist friendly in that we don't have to really dress up? Trying not to overpack...

Also footwear?

In my limited experience Banff felt more rustic and casual than it did fancy-pants. Exception would be at the Fairmont I guess.

Jeans and a nice shirt with nice tennis shoes or dress shoes should be fine.

we had snow boots on everyday, plus they'er comfortable and black you can wear the with jeans
