Every time San Antonio is mentioned as a place to visit, all I hear is: "Aww, you're gonna love the Riverwalk." There's gotta be other things to do there.

Were you expecting more? You realize what city you're talking about right?

Natural Bridge Wildlife Ranch! It's a drive thru zoo and the animals can come up to your car and you can feed them. Got some great pics last time we went. It's the closest thing you'd get to going on an African Safari, but without lions.

Is this kinda like how tourists always seem to only mention the French Quarter for New Orleans or Broadway for Nashville?

Nope.

SA sucks, as I've said many times on here.

Just go to Austin...

Riverwalk boat tour is about the only thing worth doing

The Riverwalk is a trashy place to walk around. Bad restaurants and plenty of drunk "adults" acting like teenagers.

That is my concern. Once a place becomes overexposed, it starts attracting riff-raff.
