Any recommendations? We will be in Covent Garden but are willing to travel for good food.

Any advice appreciated.

Amaya in the Belgravia area. Believe it still has a Michelin star. Excellent place, although I haven’t been in a few years. Punjab is a less upscale place in the theater area.

Can vouch for Punjab being a solid location if you don’t want anything too upscale.

It's really good. So is Dishoom. Gopal's in Soho. And the random hole in the wall my husband's cousin took us to on Brick Lane. I have never had bad curry in England.

Enjoyed Zaika in Kensington. Kind of on the fancy side. At Dishoom we ordered everything the server suggested. Everything was good.

Wife and I went to Gymkhana in the Mayfair area this past spring. Absolutely incredible. The drinks, food of course, and dining experience were all an A+… only knock was it is a little pricey.

+1 for Dishoom. They have multiple locations. I believe we ate at one in Kings Cross and enjoyed it very much. Don’t hesitate to grab a bite of Indian food from a food truck or window in the borough market. Really good.

Also, not Indian food but take a look at Maggie jones restaurant. Really cool place and possibly the best meal I had in London.

Gymkhana is excellent. They keep a file on their guests. I used to go frequently. Now not so much yet they always know what I want.

Excellent.
