I got a new license from one of the DMV express places and it says not for federal identification. Is TSA going to give me any problems?

Of course it isn't a federal ID. It's a state issued drivers license. I'm not sure what the question is here or if there is one.

I am assuming it has something to do with the REAL ID issue. It was the first time I had seen that on a license and yes I know a State ID isn't federal.

Exactly. What state are you from?
Some states are starting to be excluded from travel, access to govt facilities, etc.
