How are restrictions in Vegas?

Have a trip here in three weeks and want to be prepared for what to expect

I'm going in October, so interested as well. Although there could be plenty of changes between now and then.

As of right now mask are mandatory pretty much everywhere. All casinos for sure. I think even the pools are making you wear them if not in the water. I know certain restaurants and bars within some casinos aren't open.
I flew back from Oregon last week and it was a bitch getting an uber home from the airport as wasn't may available. Driver asked me to wear a mask.

Masks everywhere indoors. No shows. No bars. No clubs. Limited space at casino tables. You can order drinks and have them brought to you just about everywhere.
We never put on our masks once we found our umbrella out by the pool at Bellagio but the servers did. Didn’t see many masks by the pool at Mandalay either.
Pay attention to operational hours at stores, restaurants, etc. Many closing at 7 or 8pm.
Self parking is free at all casinos/resorts. I recommend renting a car instead of Ubering if you need to drive.

Can't stress this enough if you are planning on moving around town while here. It took me about 30 minutes to get an uber at the airport (usually takes about 5 even when I fly back on a Friday). Took about 45 minutes to get one out by my house to get to airport too.

A friend went a couple of weeks ago and came back early. He goes to Vegas 3 or 4 times a year and said he won't be back until covid restrictions are lifted. The main two things he hated were masks at the pool until you are actually in the water, and no bars were open. I think that's all he does - lay by the pool and go to bars. And gamble a little but he hated that with the mask requirement.

I thought masks aren’t required outdoors?

We went about a month ago. Here were my observations:
-the casinos we walked through looked moderately busy
-several major resorts still closed (Mirage, Planet Hollywood, Park MGM, Rio, Palms)
-lots of stores are still closed, especially in the Venetian. Caesars Forum Shops were mostly open
-no shows
-Hardly any tourists walking the strip, and zero vehicle traffic. But a LOT of homeless people. It almost felt unsafe because no one is around to help if something happens.
-Hoover Dam is closed (if thats part of your plans)

What he told me was they were required poolside and he could not take his mask off until he was actually in the water. He HATED having a mask on by the pool. I don't know whether this varies by hotel, or may have changed - it may be worth calling your hotel in advance.

I've heard from multiple people that masks are required poolside unless you are in the water. This is from folks who stayed at the Bellagio and the Wynn. They said they mostly stayed in the water, but it did mess with their experience a bit.
I'm thinking of booking for November since flights are so cheap. I do like to gamble and the lobby bars appear to be open. It might be nice with less people. I might take a day and go see Death Valley.

Freemont street was busy but not overly crowded
Must have masks on at all times in casinos; most had plexiglass partitions
Strip was not very crowded, some casinos still closed
As others said, no shows and some attractions shut down. I did ride New York coaster though.
Enjoyed my trip as it wasn’t too crowded but weed was everywhere. Smell of weed up,and down strip.

Here right now. Masks mandatory everywhere until you sit at a pool or meals. Everything is closing earlier. Reservations are needed at most restaurants including the Wynn buffet.

Vegas is way too expensive for COVID...it can only afford the poors

We were supposed to go for the Saints - Raiders game on September 21 which is my birthday. Last week they announced there will be no fans in the stands. We weren't necessarily planning to go to the game, but I was expecting the Caesar's Palace sports book to be one gigantic Saints tailgate party. Now I have my doubts. I may not be worth the trouble. We may just wait and go another time.

Do I have to wear a mask on my dick at the bunny ranch?

I just got home from Vegas today. Lobby bars are only open for waitress service. If you’re at a somewhat busy casino you might luck into a drink every couple hours. Otherwise bars as you know it are nonexistent. The only way you’re going to sit down and have a few drinks is at a bar that serves food or a regular restaurant with the waitstaff/bartender coming out to your table or seat away from the bar and taking your order. You can’t get near the actual bar anywhere. This might all change soon but right at the moment it was less than ideal. A few people mentioned it but rent a car for sure.
