Has anyone Stayed at the Palms of Destin

See they have many units available for the first weekend in July. Anyone have any reviews of this property?

It appears so. They aren't right on the beach. Says 3 minute ride.

Ok, my sister lived there for like 6 months years ago and it was like a Stephen King novel. Two high rises with an outstanding pool. Literally no one was around. No one. The hallway on the first floor stunk to high heaven like sulphur. Again, fantastic pool. But I kept thinking something's really wrong here......maybe its better now.

Thanks guys. The pool area is what was getting my attention since we are traveling with the kids but I want to stay some place decent because we are traveling with the kids.

anything that is still available for July 4th is likely a shithole or way overpriced. Pick a different week in the summer to go and prices will be significantly cheaper.

Stayed there for a conference right after it had opened. It has a nice pool, but I wouldn't recommend it for a family beach vacation. It's across the street from the beach, and not even directly across the street.

We always stay at The Crescent which is in Miramar... fantastic condos right on the beach. Pools are great too. Check it out on VRBO... will be there July 9th-16th
