Any good shows at The Pavillion while you're there?

There is an I-fly up there. Could be fun if you have kids. Or if you just ant to experience sky diving without the airplane ride.
Rent kayaks and paddle boards on lake woodlands
Drive up to Conroe and rent a boat
Decent golf up there
Nothing extraordinary in terms of restaurants. But they have some good ones.

There are a lot of events during the weekend of the 4th in The Woodlands, including a free symphony show (Patriotic music) at the Pavilion on the night of the 3rd.
The Waterway area has the most options for restaurants/bars and is walking distance from the Pavilion. The Hughes Landing area is newer but has a few decent options, including Local Pour for beers/food.

The Waterway area has Bakers St Pub, Bar Louie, Grimaldi's, Crush Wine Bar, and a few other higher end eats that are good, and all by the water, which is nice at night. Its also very close to the pavilion, Market Street, the mall, and the movies.
Other decent eats, though most are chain places, include Chuys, Salt Grass, Buca di Beppo, Torchys Tacos, Shogun Sushi, Another Broken Egg, and Black Walnut Cafe, though Ive never been there, but my parents go every month or so.

I'll be on a boat on Lake Conroe on the 3rd. Look for the drunk guy on a boat.
If you've never been, Johnson Space Center is fun, but the drive from the woodlands to there is like the drive from baton rouge to new orleans.
