I was recently there for 7 days and it will sound stupid but Pauls Deen's was the best breakfast I had while I was there. Did that 3 mornings and never got a bad meal.

The portion sizes and broad selections were top shelf.

Did dinner shows most evenings so good luck with that.

We ate dinner at Paula Deens in pigeon forge over the summer. Was very impressed. Will go there every time.

That's pretty much all of the greater Kodak/Sevierville/Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg is these days.

West NC is where to go if you want to hit good non touristy chain food.

B fast---Paula Deen's in P Forge and Pancake Pantry in G'Burg...there will be a line but it moves fast.

Quick eats...Donut Friar in Village in G'Burg and Franie Farckle (Corn Dogs)

Lunch---Puckett Grocery in P forge. Great BBQ and sides.

Guy Fieri has a place in G'Burg called Chicken Guy...Chicken tenders, fries and salads....Interesting thing is they offer around 30 different sauces.

Dixie Stampede offers a pretty decent meal and a show.

Smoky Mountain Brewery is a decent choice for sandwiches, burgers, pizza and beer.

It been years and they had just opened but the Bullfish grill in Pigeon Forge was pretty good. Back when we went the chef was from NOLA. He came out and talked to us because our waitress told him some of your people are sitting at table # whatever. LOL! The key lime pie was killer.

The phrase “stay away from the touristy stuff” in the context of Gatlinburg is kinda funny.

I love that area for the record. Pancakes/waffles just hit differently in the smoky mountains.

Y'all can skip Guy Fieri's Downtown Flavortown. Was there last fall and it was awful.
