Been mostly hitting Orange Beach over the last few years, but getting tired of OB so heading to FTW/Destin next month. Whats the lowdown on decent food ? Not talking high end.. but decent like the old days of Fudpuckers, etc.

Helen Back in FW for pizza. Dewey Destin's for seafood. Maguire' for steak. Boat House for burgers.

The seafood is the same in both towns. Just more restaurants in Destin.

There's a new place in Ft Walton called The Gulf. It's near Pandora's and the public boat launch, looks like a great spot to hang and grab a bite/drink. There is also a good Mexican restaurant in that big development where The Swamp is, can't remember the name but have been a couple times and enjoyed it.

Have you tried Mimmo's in Destin? It's pretty legit Italian food.
