Headed out to Fremont, CA at the end of the month for a few days for work. Looking for places to eat in that area or San Jose.

Debating on whether I fly into San Jose or SFO. I'm leaning toward SFO to do a little sightseeing when I arrive. Planning to arrive on a Monday and leave out on a Thursday.

Pretty sure you can take the BART into San Fransisco from Fremont, if you want to sight see later.

Any suggestions on arrival spots in SF? I don't think I'll have enough time to go see a lot, but I'd like to find a couple places to take my drone out and get some shots of at least the bridge and Alcatraz.

For food, I think I found the closest In-N-Out burger to where I'm staying, but looking for some other things to try.

I would fly to Oakland. Yes Bart can get you from Fremont to embarcadero/downtown SF. Use yelp for restaurant reviews close to you

Fly into oakland, but you can take bart into Fremont from either sfo of oakland. Bart from sfo is a very long ride and is basically the length of the system. Oakland airport is much better, it's much smaller and less crowded than sfo for the return flight, while still being a nice airport. Oakland is also much closer to Fremont. Then just take Bart into the city to sightsee.

If you are flying out of MSY southwest has a non stop to Oakland which is great. Fog city diner is a good spot, you hit up at the same time as doing the fishermans ward etc.
