My parents are taking the family on a trip in Novemeber. We have all decided to go to an all inclusive resort. Plan on staying 5 nights. There are 5 Adults, and 1 kid. Including air fare, the total budget is somewhere around $8,000. Any recommendations? None of us have ever done an all inclusive, so we really have no idea where to start.

Look up Paradisus La Esmarelda in Playa

Free day care

Plenty of stuff for kids

9 restaurants. Best food I've ever eaten at a resort

Swim up patios

Close to 5th avenue tourist area of Playa

We are doing beach palace... I think I would prefer moon palace because it is more spread out. Good deal though. However... airfare right now is high AF. That maybe the kicker depending on which week you are going.

Is that even possible on $8,000 budget? that comes to about $1,000 per person at the resort. That's not a lot for 5 days

I doubt it. That would be three rooms and its not likely he will get that with air for 6 for 5 days unless its a cheap place.

Iberostar Bavaro is a good kids place and adult place. I just rant a quick look and in November, the 5 day rate for a junior suite is $3500 for each room. Thats for two double beds or one king. Depending on the family breakdown, you could do two rooms for $7000 plus airfare.....

Airfare for 6 to Punta Cana in November is probably $3500-$4000

If you got a group discount, i would think you could make that trip for 10K

ETA. Actually I looked at this again and the price I posted was way wrong. The price in November is $1200 for each room for 5 days. So thats $3600 for all three rooms.

You could certainly get very close to 8K for 3 rooms at the Bavaro. After I reread my post, that 5 day price sounded high
