Gonna be in Denver for 3 nights for the My Morning Jacket shows during NYE. Will probably want to go to breweries during the day each day. The shows are at night about 20-30 minutes outside of town. Can anyone recommend an area or neighborhood where we should stay? Haven't been to Denver in years. Thanks

Anywhere on Colfax should be good.

Assuming you will have a car to drive around, I would stay in the Cherry Creek area. It is my favorite part of Denver. Lots of restaurants, bars, shopping (I am a female, so that's important to me!). I like Downtown, but can only take it in small doses. I'll be there in about a week! Hope to move there one day.

Highlands would be good for you, it's on the north side of downtown and has good access to breweries. Stay away from the 16th street mall and you'll enjoy denver.
