Anyone ever done this. I was hoping we could book a flight but the options are pretty limited unless we do a charter which I requested a quote for but haven't received yet. Has anyone used the ferry service or another boat service? Any company recommendations or other options would be appreciated. We'd like to make the most of the day, meaning getting there early and leaving late.

While we're at it, any restaurant recommendations? We already have Blanchard's booked for dinner-Thanks!

I've done the ferry from St. Maarten. It can be a very rough ride depending on the day. Take dramamine and do not sit inside the boat. Getting there early and leaving late is dependent on the ferry schedule for the day you go.

The landing on St. Barths is interesting to say the least. You crest a hill and land going downhill with the ocean right in front of you.

The boat from St Maarten to St Barth is often called by locals as The Vomit Comet. Its fast but it is really rough. Lots of people puke.

The plane ride landing into St Barth's would make me shite my pants

Just flew into St Barth in Jan and departed on the ferry. Landing was rather interesting, ferry ride back to St Maarten was very nautical...

We did ferry from St Martin to St Barts in 2022. Got kicked out of first class…oops. Boat ride was smooth sailing. Rented a car and spent the day at St Barts. We went to 2 beaches, then lunch at Nikki Beach. Took ferry back to St Martin. It was an expensive day!!

I've heard that from two different couples. I'd opt to chum the ocean with my breakfast.

St Barths vs BVI - any opinions? I love going to BVI but have never been to St Barths although I’ve heard amazing things.

That charter flight will cost you a fortune. SBH airport closes at sunset so as great as St Barth is it wouldn’t be worth it as a day trip.

Once you get there St. Barths is amazing. Just prepare yourself for the ferry. It’s also nicknamed the St. Barfs ferry.

I don’t suppose they post the ferry schedule anywhere online, I haven’t been able to find it. Also, don’t suppose I need to book the tickets in advance?

You may have to do the ferry from St. Maarten and get a private boat from Anguilla to StM.

St. Maarten to St. Barth Ferry Schedule

It looks like Voyager can make the two ferries connect properly for you.

I don't think you're going to be able to do an arrive early, leave late day as you're going to be stuck with rigid ferry schedules.
