What would you expect to spend on a 10 day trip to Europe visiting Paris, London and Rome for three people? Nothing extravagant, but not slumming it either.

Probably around $3,000 including flight and transport (edited to add)

eta. per person*... thats on a college type trip (commensurate nightlife/food cost). If you're talking family vacation, probably budget 4-5k per person.

More than 3000. Depends on where you are staying?, taking the train? What do you want to eat.

I'd say budget at least 5k. You may get away with 3-4 but you won't be living high on the hog.

FYI it is probably cheaper to fly between the cities taking Easyjet, Ryanair, etc than taking a train.

I also missed the 3 people part. Way more than 3. Including food and drinks budget at least 5 IMO.

a little bit more information on how old the people are, time of year, etc. would be helpful. per person, i'd budget around 1.5k for the flights per person, lodging will be about 800 per person, then 150 per day for food, souvenirs, drinks, etc. so at the low end, you're looking at 3.5-4k.

That's a fly by trip. No way I'd do those three cities in ten days and expect to get an experience out of it.

Agreed here, its one thing to do this trip its another to try and do it saving money. You can easily do a 10 day trip with any one of those cities, but the best trip would likely be London and Paris in 10 days. It would save you a lot of money in travel and hotels as you can get cheaper places long term.
