First time not staying on the beach side. We are heading out there with multiple families and I think it will be a good time.

Looking for any inside scoop on the place. Never been! Good and Bad scoop helps!

Thanks!

my folks lived there for a year. Liked the lazy river and pools. Nice restaurant right next door. Not a bad little walk to the beach if that's where you want to go. It's a busy big complex so don't expect much relaxation.

There is nothing easy about that walk to the beach. LOL
It's a pretty cool place though

Yes. There's a trolley that brings you to/from the beach. And it isn't that far.

I must have been off a little, but I seem to recall to get to the real beach you still had to walk quite a ways down a board ealk and across a wide beach are to the water. No big deal if you aren't carrying a bunch of stuff.
The good part is that beach area is not crowded.

We loved it. The views on the bay side were really nice. Great restaurant called Cobalt right there under the bridge.

Alabama point and Florida point boardwalks are both less than 1000' away from the Caribe. My folks lived there full time. I spent plenty of time there.

radio, portable ice chest and you'll be set. very easy, kids love the slides, indoor pools for bad weather. Pool building/pool furthers to west (left facing) get least amount of traffic. some of those slides are Rough as ****

We ate at Cobalt last weekend. I REALLY enjoyed the shrimp and grits I ordered. The views of the bay at sunset were really nice as well.

Long walk to the beach but probably not as crowded.

For the money, unless you have a boat and want to dock nearby, you're better off at somewhere like Beach Club in Ft Morgan

It's great. I grew up in GS and know the Manager's son. They do have a couple 6 seater golf carts they use to bus people back and forth from the beach
