Cancun spring break - crazy?

Wife wants to go to Cancun with our 11 yr old for a few days during spring break. My daughter gets two weeks off so looking like March 20-24. Haven't been to cancun but we were looking at Hyatt Ziva as an all inclusive to just hang at the resort for a few days. Its an easy flight from KC, any suggestions or other recommendations?

My wife and I visit Cancun at least once a year and love it. We are going with our 2 young kids (4 and 10) for Spring Break this year and staying at Dreams Natura, we have stayed at Dreams properties with kids in the past and have been pleased.

Thanks just looked at Dreams Natura. Unfortunately one of nights we are there it isn’t available weird because it’s a Thursday night

Every place will be packed with kids.
In March/early April the AIs in Cancun are full of families with kids. I've done Finest twice, once in summer and once in March. In March there were as many, if not more, families with kids below HS age than when I was there in the summer.

Stay on Isla Mujeres. Some spring breakers may day trip to the island but it won't be anything like Cancun is during that time period.

But I agree it's my idea of paradise.
Though with kids I think I would do Xcaret or Xplore.
