What about restaurant recommendations and activity recommendations?

Flora Farms, which requires hiring a private driver if you're staying in the city/marina part of Cabo, is 100000% worth it. What a phenomenal place. Go early to walk the grounds.

In town, Los Tres Gallos is really good and a fun atmosphere. Mariachi bands playing at your table, tableside caesar salads, etc.

Weirdly, the tequila tasting I did was way better than expected. LINK

The Office is touristy, but the food was great. Plus it's just fun random people pouring shots in everyone's mouths.

Was there last week. Fishing is not what it used to be in Cabo, but there are still some good days and its great to get out on the water. We fished out of Port in San Jose this time and was much easier than fishing out of Cabo and it seemed like a lot of the Cabo boats where fishing near San Jose anyway, so we didn't have to ride far. Notes below.

Visit San Jose - the downtown area and central plaza are really cool.
Use Uber instead of Taxis- cheaper and easier, but they will need to pick you up outside of the gate of your hotel.
Dining -
Don Sanchez - have been here quite a few times and its always great. Really nice atmosphere.
Torro - Cool vibe and good food.

Sunset mona lisa is a great bar on a cliff overlooking the ocean. it is very pricey but is a great place to at least have drinks and appetizers.

Are there any good surf spots in Cabo? If so where, and also any recs on lessons for a beginner?

Along the pacific side between Grand Solmar and the Ritz Carlton

You might get hassled by hotel security to get out of the water (the surf/tide is fricking nasty) but all beaches in Mexico are public

Have fun and don’t drown

I've never surfed here but annual hangout for our golf trip is to watch surfers have a go at the Cabo surf hotel beach. A cool place. And the 7 seas restaurant at the place is fantastic. Highly recommend

A friend stayed at the Nobu hotel at the same time Simone Biles got married.

I forgot this hotel even existed.... he said he'd go back in a heartbeat (with the guys). Pussy galore.

Anyway, ya.
