Headed up there in February and looking for advice on where to stay. We won't be doing much skiing so that isn't a factor.

Thanks in advance...

What are you doing in February if not skiing? How big is your party? Any kids? budget?

We stayed at the Springhill Suites last year. Nice hotel with expanded breakfast options. Right off interstate and just a few miles from downtown.

Whenever we stay at an AirBnB or VRBO rental, we typically look up the hosts and sometimes will get lucky with discounted rates booking directly with the host. When we traveled to Bozeman, we found this website through some of the VRBO listings Stay Montana. The rates on their website were anywhere from 5% - 25% cheaper than through VRBO or AirBnB. The company checked in daily through text and the condo we rented was stocked with everything we needed. I'd recommend that if you're not looking for a hotel.

Our of curiosity what are you planning on doing in Bozeman in February? Snowmobile in Yellowstone or something else? Genuinely curious.

Family been wanting a winter experience. Wanted something laid back and a part of the country we haven’t traveled much.

Snowmobiling, chilling and relaxing, and other excursions…..

I'd pick an Air bnb that you can drive into easily (the drive gets plowed regularly) and near where you plan on doing excursions. Otherwise, find a loft in town or a hotel. It is cold AF in February so make sure those excursions are available to you.

We stayed at The Lark last winter. It’s not super-fancy and seems to be an old motel that’s been well-renovated, but the rooms were very nice and it was within walking distance (even in heavy snow) of everything downtown.
