Trying to work out a quick getaway for April 8-11. Seems that it averages from $1200 to $2000 to stay at one of the big resorts (Aria, Paris, PH, Bellagio, etc.). Is that the norm and I'm just out of luck on finding a lower price?

Room rates are high AF in April.

Staying at Harrah’s at the end of the month and it’s going to average $200+ Per night.

At Harrah’s.

I’ve stayed a weekend at Caesar’s for much less. Not sure what’s going on.

NFL draft is at the end of April. But rates for the entire month seem to be high

Just increase the amount you’re betting to cover the costs.

Spend that $2000 at a craps table and you’ll get yourself a free room

Just stay at a lower teir resort. Mirage and T.I. are considered old but they are still solid properties and are mid-strip. As a person who was practically raised in those casinos there is saying that applies to the Strip: If you paint a wall it is still a wall.

Join MLife (MGM Resorts) or Caesar’s rewards. It’s free. That’ll open up cheaper rates.

As a rule, I never stay over the weekend in Vegas. I typically go Sun-Wed or Thu to get the best rates.

The days of cheap Vegas are gone.

I go there for work and went in the fall with my wife, and it’s ridiculous the rates.

For a spare weekend in Oct the best deal I could get was $450 at the Flamingo.

Best bet is stay off the strip

I’m an MGM card holder and have never been to Vegas, but they’re willing to comp me multiple nights. Stay down on Fremont. Go check out Circa.

Resorts World has 3 hotels. Check their rates, except for Crockfords.

Either company's credit card will earn you good offers and points. I have MGM's card, we go twice a year on average, dont gamble much and pay maybe 60 a night including the resort fee which is 40 of that. The appx 60 is after combining an offer and then further reducing the cost with my points. Just did this with Vdara (55 a night
which included the resort fee). Also these trips are 2 or 3 nights and on weekends.

Sorry you're poor. They comp my rooms! J/K the draft is in April and it's the tail end of spring break.

Go during the week. Cheaper rooms and easier to get in nicer restaurants and the better shows.

Just got back today. Highly recommend Paris. Great location. Mon ami Gabi—ask for table next to window looking at the bellagio water show. Beer park has a great tap list. It was pretty reasonable

With vegas it all depends on timing, weekends and big events will be crazy expensive. Weekdays and slower weekends rooms can be cheap. Mlife basically gives free rooms most weekdays even to small gamblers that use their casinos, resort fees are added on top of room totals for casinos on the strip (usually 30-60/night), so make sure to factor that in.

I appreciate all the feedback to go during the week, but I'm going for a specific reason on the dates listed in the OP. Just not flexible this time unfortunately. Thanks anyway.
