Do you ski/snowboard? If so/ you want to learn you are very close to the poconos. Theres day and night skiing at about 6 different mountains (blue, jack frost big boulder, camelback, etc), snow tubing, tons of exotic food (peruvian, ecuadorian, american), mt airy casino. Allentown/easton are nice places, just not too much going on mid winter. Dorney park is only open during spring/summer/fall so thats a no go

Yeah, I expect it will be cold as F. Won't have much time during day. I see there are lots of craft beer places.

Jim Thorpe is a cool town. Fiancé and I did the 25 mile rail trail bike ride when we went.

Not much going on since they've taken all the coal from the ground. January is pretty depressing in the rust belt area. Maybe catch a Lehigh wrestling match if available during your visit. They should be a top 15 team this year. As the other poster said, maybe skiing, but that generally doesn't lend itself well for a work related visit. Downtown Bethlehem should still have Christmas decorations up.

Just curious, what company are you visiting?
I did a Sam Adams brew tour last time I was there for work. Not entirely much to do in that area

Not sure about Lehigh Valley but I lived in Lancaster Pa for 2.5 years. I had easy access to Philly, Baltimore, NYC and DC via car or train so there is no shortage of sites to see or weekend drives to make if you live in eastern PA.
Yep, great beer in PA. You will be right by the Yeungling brewery in Pottsville Pa. Victory, Troegs, and Yards breweries all in the area as well.
Should be good hiking in that area too, Appalachian trail passes through or right near Lehigh Valley.
I don't know how long you'll be there but I would try to make it to Philly more than once. It's about an hour, hour and a half drive from where you'll be. Eat some good food, see some sites and check out a Flyers game, its a good time.
