Has anyone stayed at Villa La Estancia here? If so, how was the experience? Any other suggestions for an all inclusive? Planning something for October. TIA

I think Cabo has less all inclusives than most of Mexico. Some of AI are a good ways from town. I stayed at the Rui a couple of years ago and it is only about 10 minutes from town. I found the resort to be decent but nothing great. In hindsight, I think I would have rather stayed close to the marina for food and drink.

I've stayed at La Estancia 6-7 times and going back August 4th and again in October.. It's a great place. Very nice and the service is top notch. Don't do all inclusive though. There's too much good food and nightlife 5 minutes away. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask.

+1 for don't do AI in cabo. Check this out: Los Cabos Passport

Get this and there are amazing deals that you can have throughout your stay there.

Don't go to Dreams.

If you can swing it go to The One and Only Palmilla, not all inclusive, but worth every peso.

I am headed to Cabo this Saturday. Are taxis available to get us from the airport to our resort at a reasonable rate? We are staying at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica Resort. Thanks for any advice.

We stayed at Rui Palace. You can't get in the water right there bc water is rough but the pool overlooks the ocean and there is a swimup bar. They have shows there and a couple of restaurants. Beds were not super comfy but we were never in the room. There were workers cleaning everything all day and night.

We stayed next door to the RIU palace, @ the Sante Fe RIU....

Really nice setup. Perfect for a good all inclusive getaway. We wanted to experience some food outside of the resort and in comparison it was obviously better.

The outdoor pool bar closed before sunset which we didn't care for much, but other than that great time

Don't take a taxi from the airport, and make plans now so you don't get ripped off by time share sharks offering rides when you get there. Shared shuttle is cheapest but your resort is far, plus they don't leave until the van is full. Private transportation is the best option. I use Cielito Lindo, but get quotes from a few before booking. I've heard good things about Victor as well. Tripadvisor has a list of options, just Google it (I'm having issues linking that from my phone). Also, check with your resort to see what it offers, but you can probably get a better deal on your own.

We stayed at Pueblo Bonito Los Cabos for a college spring break trip and it was pretty solid. I highly doubt that is what you're looking for but it would still be a good option for the money for a regular vacation. I've also stayed at The Esperanza and it definitely lived up to all the good reviews and hype but its not all inclusive.

right after you grab your bags, you will head to a room, off to the left I believe, there will be some kind folks that would happy to assist you, maybe even see if you would like to sit through a presentation or two....

I haven't been to Cabo yet so I'll say this with that caveat.

I will never rent a car in Mexico again.

I'm doing it on a recommendation from a buddy who was in Cabo last week.

Still keep your head down in that room, it's time share people, they are not there to help you, unless you really want to sit through a time share presentation.
