This may be my first foray into Kickstarter. I've always entertained the idea of a smart watch, and this one has peaked my interest. It has reached some decent stretch goals and anticipated to reach the $3m stretch goal as well.

I've backed one smartwatch on Kickstarter. Pebble. They were amazingly successful and then got bought by FitBit who know longer supports my warranty work or updates my watch.
In short, I'll pass. Looks like a nice watch though.

Yeah, Ive read about the Pebble shutdown. Good thing about this watch is that MyKronoz is already an established company. It is running a proprietary os though.

what sucks is 3 month before the shutdown sams clubs were LOADED with pebbles and a huge end cap right in front of electronics. i'm guessing they were selling a shiton of them.

No, not shipping until September. They've sold a ton of preorders, so no telling how long it will take to ship them all.

Thanks. I didn't catch that on the site. I think I'll hold off. By the time my last two kickstarters got around to doing anything I had lost interest.

Now includes sapphire glass. Should also reach the $4m stretch goal before time is up.
