Would this TV be a waste of money?

Keep in mind that I've never had a flat screen HD tv before and I'm lucky if I get to watch 10 hours of tv in a week. But I want something that looks good for the few times I do get free time.
If it's not a good deal, what would you recommend in that price range?

I think it looks decent for the money as long as you don't mind only two hdmi inputs. I use all three on my TVs and I wish there were more.

That's the only drawback. I'm trying to figure out what I'd use the HDMI ports for. Cable box and Wii U definitely. Then there's a blue ray player, Roku, etc. Decisions, decisions.

HDMI Splitter. I bought one from I think Amazon. Works fine. My TV only has 2 HDMI ports, but with the Splitter I have 4 things plugged in.
