no no..i said apple was insecure as a corporation..not the users. you misunderstood.
OK, I did misread your post. My mistake.
I do stand by my point though. Apple isn't the only company that wants to show off their brand and they're definitely not making manufactures cut holes in their cases.

Seriously? I can do this all day.
Yeah have fun with that since you've destroyed all of your credibility.

I'm not even sure what the argument here is even about. The pro android crowd is accusing Apple of marketing. Shocker. That little green droid should be much higher profile than he is, and he would be if Android were it's own company rather than being a side business trojan horse for Google.

This.
If google ever makes a phone, you better believe that either the green chubby android or the word "google" will be on the back.
I'm personally rooting for the green android dude because he looks kinda badass

Pretty sure google has never manufactured a phone under it's own name. Feel free to give an example if that's not correct.

google owns motorola and developed the motoX. so they didn't manufacture that?
google used LG to develop the N4 and N5 (as well as N7 and N10). is that not a google phone because google didn't fire up a plant with an unknown chip maker building it?

Did google employees design either of those phones? Did they build a mock up or a prototype?
Did they do anything other than own the companies who made them?

Nexus devices fill an interesting space in the Android ecosystem. They're made with close involvement by Google and designed to showcase the company's unmodified Android software. They get OS updates directly from Google with little to no delay. And they're sold directly from Google, unlocked, at off-contract prices that are practically impossible for most manufacturers to match.
how do you define what constitutes a company building a phone?

"Close involvement with design" and "selling the phone" doesn't say to me that it's a google phone.
If Walmart had bought Motorola, given Motorola execs design queues on the Moto X and sold it exclusively at Walmart would you say it was a Walmart phone or a Motorola phone?
