Unless you're extra-careless with your browsing/download habits, Windows 10's built-in Windows Defender is good enough.

I've used AVG free version for years, but like ILikeLSUToo... I'm not positive it's done anything for me.

Kaspersky saves my arse all the time on streaming sites.

The built in defender is good but not perfect. You also need to roll with flash block and add block extensions for your browser.

Just make sure to whitelist TD.

Depends on your definition of careless.

Yahoo's home page has been hit with malware advertisements twice in the last couple of years.

If they can get nailed by a bad ad server then pretty much 100% of sites out there aren't as safe as you think.

A basic anti-virus program might not protect you. Having browser extensions as supplemental help is a must in my opinion.

Then you are using the wrong sites.

Then again, it sounds like you are using sites to steal content.

I guess you have a tough time with the reading comprehension and clearly missed the part about YAHOO having malware on their HOMEPAGE.

Great deal. I bought Kaspersky for 5 devices for 3 years.

Not a resource hog and this company is on top of the latest and greatest virus threats.
