Decided to change from the Powerline adapters?
I have also had great success with these MoCA adapters. I use them mainly for a media network for my TV's and audio system, and have never had a problem with multiple HD streams to different rooms. Probably 4 at once on Sundays during the football season. 2 on the back patio for fooball then my wife and son on two other TV's.

I was up in my attic this weekend and took a look at the telephone wiring. It's all Cat 5e. I saw where two runs were spliced together, and they just used the blue and white wires. Googling around, it's supposedly possible to connect the other wires and get 10/100 Mbps Ethernet.

Anyone ever done this, or at least heard of such a thing?

IF you are not worried about having a phone... Put an RJ45 on each and connect them with a coupler.

100Mbps only requires 2 pair, so yes it can be done.

Thought about it some more, and all my telephone jacks are on the opposite side of the room from where I'd put a network jack, and I don't have one in the stupid great room at all. Might be a cheap way for someone to do it, though.
