Nexus 6, but where are you getting one for $500?

I would say out of all of those I would go with the Nexus 6. I prefer vanilla android or as close as I can get to it.
I haven't owned a Samsung phone since the S2. Never really liked Samsung's TouchWiz interface so I always had my phone rooted and running custom ROM's.
I never have been a fan of HTC's Sense interface either as far as the one Plus goes.
Right now I have a Sony Xperia Z2 and love it. Sony's interface is about as close to vanilla as you can get and it is dust and water-proof

I chose between Nexus 6 and Note 4 and got the Note 4. Was really uncertain but after about a week I was happy with the choice. Samsung seems less invasive than it did back when I had an S4. It's still childish, but I can avoid it most of the time.
I love stock android and wanted the Nexus 6, but the size was just off for me. The Note is a very comfortable size, while the Nexus just felt awkward. I was really reluctant to try Samsung again, but so far it's all good.

I have a Note 3, and it still runs like the first day I got it. I would hold out for the Note 5 Edge (should be released in September or October) if you can wait that long. Otherwise, I'm sure the Note 4 would suffice...
