I went with the Air 2 but it was on sale for considerably under 400 and I really only need it as an emergency work machine and an ereader/browser.

If it's 100 bucks or less I'd go for the pro.

Ipad Pro keyboard is the best Ipad keyboard I have ever used and I have bought 5 generations of Ipad's and a keyboard with each.
