What is a good solid soundbar for watching tv? Prefer Atmos and at least 5.1.

Klipsch's Cinema 800 5.1 is currently on sale for $698 on their website. Usually $1268.

I have the 600 3.1 and have been very happy with it.

You won't get any meaningful surround or Atmos experience from just a front sitting soundbar, so don't restrict your search to 5 channel sound bars. A quality 2 or 3 channel soundbar would suffice.

If you have the space for rears, that's another discussion.

I have a Samsung q800B that I’m very happy with. I don’t have room for rear speakers, but the soundbar and subwoofer put out very good sound.

Sonos arc, sub, and era 100. (Era 300 if you can afford it for a great atmos experience)

What type of tv do you have? I would find it humorous if you spent ~$2500 on surround sound but you are watching on a 45" amazon fire tv.

75” Sony Bravia in Living room. 65” TCL in game room.

I don’t have the Era 300s but wish I did. They have upward firing speakers for the rear.

Thank you!! The beauty about Sonos is you don’t have to buy it all at once. I’m constantly adding and moving speakers.

I had a Vizio elevate and the audio was incredible, especially for the price.

Unfortunately, the damn thing constantly suffered eArc handshake issues (along with crappy software) so I returned it for a Sonos arc setup that cost 3x as much for similar sound quality. Thankfully the user experience of Sonos is far better.

Yeah I've had the M Series Elevate for a bit now it's been great. App control on the phone can be a little finicky but mostly works fine.

I have a sub $200 5.1 vizio system and it sounds amazing to my ears. There's a higher end model with additional upward facing speakers to achieve Dolby Atmos, not sure the price.
