Just picked one up and really liking it. What are some apps or websites you guys are using on your chromecast?

Did you get it using the groupon because I got mine in earlier this week also from there and I'm enjoying it so far. I have used WatchESPN, Netflix, and HBOGo on it. I'm sure there are other good apps.

go to your phone, go to settings, go to security, turn OFF 'trusted sources only' or whatever that setting is
download
- showbox
- hd cinema
- popcorntime
- localcast
- growbox
google them..the only one you will find in the app store is 'localcast'

CAD, I've seen you post this a few times. Have you posted a rundown anywhere of what they all are? I'm intrigued.

i dont want you to ban me
i can give the links; i know 'growbox' is on XDA - its used to 'fake' mxplayer so you can stream showbox to your chromecast.
but i can post the links for..educational purposes only if you like

Showbox won't let me use my chromecast video player app anymore to throw the movie to chromecast, it wants me to download some mx player app which doesn't support chromecast. Is there any way around that?

It's fine, but depending on how strict your ISP is, I'd highly recommend using the built-in VPN (slow and crappy) or another VPN (like PIA).
My top Chromecast uses are Plex and Netflix.

I have the same question for my Roku. All I use is WatchESPN, HBOgo, and Netflix...but I'm sure there's more useful tools out there.

Does anyone have a list of apps for iPhone and Chromecast like HD Cinema and localcast that they can give me?
