Went to download Lightroom...processor problem

My MacBook has an intel core duo 2 but it states that it requires intel pentium. Is this soemthing I can get around or can easily upgrade?

It didn't actually give you an error and deny the installation did it? Because when it says "Pentium," it's saying that or better. The requirements are low, like Pentium or Athlon 64. The Pentium they refer to is the one of 8-10 years ago, single core, socket 478 (Northwood, Prescott, Willamette). Core 2 Duo is newer.

Ahhh. Well I got the creative cloud app and it let's you choose which software you want to download. That's the only one that wasn't on the list.
On adobes troubleshooting, it says that is usually because you don't meet system requirements. I went down the list and was good in every other category
