watchespn app not working on amazon fire tv

I get to the point of choosing a link to watch and the working circle just keeps on spinning, never connects. Any fixes for this issue?

did you unplug the fire tv and plug it back in? try that first and if that doesn't work then try uninstall and reinstall

Not working on roku either. I have an account with full channel subscription and can't watch shite. Wtf

The app has been crashing quite a bit the past few months. I know it did during the College Football Playoff as well.

Do you have Kodi/XBMC installed? If I haven't actually exited Kodi WatchESPN won't connect for some reason. I have to literally go into Kodi and exit the program, rather than hitting the home screen. I had this happen all the time before I figured it out (found someone online say that) and had been restarting the FireTV almost daily.
